No-Refund Policy
All software purchases are final. Once a digital product is purchased and downloaded, it cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances. Please review compatibility and product details before buying.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Sound Market Africa, browsing our catalog, or purchasing any software program, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform or make any purchases.
2. Digital Products & Licensing
All programs sold on Sound Market Africa are digital products delivered electronically. Upon successful payment, you receive a non-transferable, single-user license to download and use the software for personal or professional music production purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, share, or sublicense any purchased program.
3. No-Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products and the fact that software cannot be "returned" once downloaded or accessed, ALL SALES ARE FINAL and NO REFUNDS will be issued under any circumstances once a purchase is completed. This includes, but is not limited to, cases of buyer’s remorse, accidental purchases, incompatibility with your system, or failure to read product descriptions prior to purchase. Please review all program details, compatibility information, and system requirements carefully before completing your transaction.
4. Pre-Purchase Responsibility
It is your responsibility to verify that a program is compatible with your operating system (Windows or Mac) and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) before purchasing. Each product page clearly lists supported platforms and DAWs. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before making a purchase — no refunds will be granted for incompatible software.
5. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice. Payments are processed securely through our trusted payment gateway. Promotional discount codes, where applicable, are applied at checkout and may have expiry dates. A promo code that has expired will not be honoured.
6. Free Programs
Programs listed as FREE may be downloaded without charge. Free programs are still subject to the licensing terms above and may not be redistributed. Availability of free programs is at the discretion of Sound Market Africa and may change at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, tutorials, masterclasses, and content available on Sound Market Africa remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Your purchase grants you a usage license — not ownership of the underlying intellectual property. Unauthorized distribution or piracy will result in immediate license revocation and may be subject to legal action.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sound Market Africa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any purchased program. Our maximum liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that specific program. We do not guarantee that any program will meet your specific requirements or operate without interruption or errors.
9. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to make purchases.
10. Changes to Terms
Sound Market Africa reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date below reflects when these terms were last updated.
